The Product Design team at Notable operates with high agency and transparency, drawing on rich insights. We are a small, dedicated team reporting to the Head of Product Design. Each designer is integrated into a cross-functional pod, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering partners. We utilize a range of design fidelities and intentionally adopt new tools and processes to foster learning, sound judgment, effective communication, and successful product launches.
This role is pivotal in making AI-powered healthcare workflows buildable, operable, and trustworthy within a critical industry. We are seeking a motivated individual to tackle complex systems with significant real-world consequences. As a Senior Product Designer, you will own product design across multiple workstreams within a cross-functional pod, designing for a multi-persona platform that serves:
You will be responsible for breaking down complex problems, articulating your design rationale, and driving projects from initial concepts to shipped products. Your work might involve designing how users configure AI-powered automations, how operators manage workflow failures, or how patients experience outreach initiatives, and understanding how changes propagate across different surfaces. Your design communication may involve workflow diagrams, Figma mockups, or design-in-code prototypes.
We value in-person collaboration. For employees based in the Bay Area, a minimum of three days per week in our San Mateo office is required. Remote employees may be expected to travel to headquarters occasionally for company-wide events and team gatherings.
