The Role
This is a Senior individual contributor role for a commercially sharp, self-directed sales professional with a proven background in consultancy, marketing services, or people solutions. Initially, the focus is on net-new business development: building pipeline from scratch, engaging brands unfamiliar with OLIVER, and winning their confidence and budgets. You will build your own book of accounts. As your client base grows, you will transition to deepening relationships, identifying new workstreams, expanding scope, and becoming a strategic partner. This role is for someone energized by the sales hunt and motivated by nurturing the business they win.
What You Will Be Doing
- Generating leads through proactive telephone outreach and social media marketing.
- Selling a range of creative and digital agency services (online/offline creative design, social media, digital solutions, copywriting, videography, marketing technology).
- Building and maintaining long-term, profitable client relationships while delivering exceptional service.
- Identifying and capitalizing on new business development opportunities.
- Expanding market opportunities through diverse sales channels and strategies.
- Collecting and analyzing sales data to uncover insights and optimize performance.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, products, and competitor activities.
What You Need to Be Great in This Role
Commercial Acumen
- Demonstrable track record of winning net-new business in complex B2B environments.
- Background in consultancy, marketing agency, people solutions (HR tech, talent), business intelligence, or professional services.
- Comfort operating without an existing pipeline or inherited accounts; ability to build from zero.
- Confidence navigating complex organizations and building relationships to close deals.
- Experience across the full new business cycle, with established success in farming and account development.
Market and Language
- For the Dutch-speaking role: Professional proficiency in Dutch and English; strong working knowledge of the Netherlands and broader EMEA business landscape.
- For the German-speaking role: Professional proficiency in German and English; strong working knowledge of Germany and broader EMEA business landscape.
- Additional language skills (Spanish, Italian, Nordic) are a plus.
