About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated DevOps / Platform Engineer (m/f/d) for our long-term client. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering the flexibility of remote work.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure high platform availability and scalability.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and promote best practices in software deployment.
Identify and resolve security issues within the infrastructure to ensure the protection of sensitive data.
Create and maintain documentation and guides for platform usage and maintenance.

Qualifications

Very good knowledge of GitLab CI.
Profound experience with Docker and containerization.
Practical experience in build and release automation.
Good knowledge of Kubernetes (Deployments, Debugging, Helm).
Understanding of automated tests in the CI/CD context (integration desirable).
Very good German and English language skills.
Experience with deployments on Debian or Ubuntu.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
Python and/or Bash skills for scripting and tooling.
Experience in modernizing legacy systems.
Operational understanding (customer operations, updates, monitoring, stability).
