✨ AI Insights & Summary

This is a compelling opportunity for a digitally savvy individual passionate about social impact and progressive change. The role of Digital Organizer*in at this politically engaged organization offers a chance to leverage cutting-edge digital strategies to mobilize communities and drive meaningful societal impact. It's a position for someone who thrives on building movements, understands the nuances of online discourse, and wants to make a tangible difference in the political landscape.

About Us

We are a young, politically engaged team dedicated to digital communication with conviction. Our mission is to move people, not just create content. We are looking for someone who not only understands Big Organizing but lives it.

About the Role

As a Digital Organizer*in, you will develop scalable digital actions, identify political momentum, and translate it into campaigns that mobilize. You understand how to transform a community into a movement, how to organize and mobilize volunteers, and how to build a large community with political influence. You have a strong sense for the political and media discourse in Germany, can identify viral moments, contextualize trends, and develop actions that achieve reach and impact. Your work will ensure that communities grow, organizing opportunities emerge, and progressive forces become permanently more visible and effective.

Your Responsibilities

  • Build and manage community channels (newsletter, WhatsApp, broadcasts, etc.).
  • Conceptualize, build, and manage interactive, participatory community channels (Discord, Reddit, etc.).
  • Conceptualize and implement scalable digital participation actions (stunts, mail actions, campaign waves, events, etc.).
  • Develop organizing funnels that turn community members into activists, and plan long-term sustainable mobilization structures.
  • Recognize political momentum and translate it into actionable campaigns.
  • Independently plan and manage projects, coordinating with colleagues, teams, and partners.
  • Analyze reach and impact, deriving learnings for future content.
  • Contribute new ideas, trends, and tools, and actively shape editorial processes.

Your Qualifications

  • Experience in digital organizing and community mobilizing.
  • Experience in creating and executing political campaigns (online & offline).
  • Experience in writing organizing messages (mailings, messages, action texts, etc.).
  • Creativity and a feel for mobilization.
  • A strong sense for topics, timing, and tonality in political discourse.
  • Excellent writing and German language skills – you can nail the tone in 280 characters as effectively as in longer texts or video scripts.
  • A very good overview of current organizing trends, tools, and hacks.
  • Experience with project management and team communication tools like Trello or Slack.
  • High degree of self-responsibility, accountability, and enjoyment of teamwork.
  • Interest in political communication and enthusiasm for creative, progressive content.
  • Knowledge of graphic or video tools is desirable.
  • Availability as soon as possible and full-time (32h+), but apply even if you can only start later.

Benefits

  • Work with purpose and demonstrable social impact.
  • Flexible working: Berlin office + remote, as you see fit.
  • Top equipment, production studio & tools for professional content production.
  • Co-creation encouraged: good ideas are tried, not filed away.
  • Clarity & Development: honest feedback culture, strategic sparring, learning as standard.
  • Part of a strong network of progressive actors.
  • A team with conviction, trust, and genuine collaboration at eye level.
  • Regular team days & offsites to improve together.
  • Fair compensation & transparent framework conditions.
  • Job ticket.
