Job Summary

The PBM Data Analyst will be instrumental in driving growth and fulfilling business needs by participating in the client onboarding process. This role involves conducting claims analysis and creating essential deliverables to support the operations team in managing member transitions for clients, consultants, and benefit brokers. The PBM Data Analyst will interface with various internal teams across the organization.

What You Will Do

• Independently query large datasets to generate ad hoc analyses with clear insights.
• Leverage historical claims data to provide reporting for assessment and risk management.
• Assist in preparing client-ready deliverables for operations teams to support member transitions.
• Ensure high-quality, client-ready deliverables through rigorous auditing and personal accountability.
• Execute deep-dive analyses and investigations into large datasets, providing clear insights.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners via email, Slack, phone, and video calls.
• Provide ad hoc analysis to illustrate the potential impact of implementing SmithRx as a pharmacy benefit solution.

What You Will Bring to SmithRx

• 3-5 years of professional experience.
• Experience in software, employee benefits, or healthcare industries is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with data and develop key insights.
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SQL, Looker, and Tableau.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to collaborate constructively and positively with teammates and partners, even in a fast-paced environment.
