Job Description

Our Data & Analytics team is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join the Analytics team, established as part of the finance function's strategic expansion and transformation. Your role will be to develop data solutions that enhance the overall performance and quality of finance data.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Plan BI Solutions:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and architect data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.

1. Develop and Implement Solutions:

• Write efficient code using SQL, Scribe, Microsoft SSIS (DAX or MDX), and Microsoft SSRS.
• Implement BI solutions using the Fabric product suite, adhering to enterprise architectural standards.
• Support the conversion of legacy Excel reports to new, scalable reporting solutions.
• Data Preparation & Blending: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from sources like SQL Server, XML, Excel, and CSV using Alteryx Designer.

1. Cloud Infrastructure Expertise:

• Utilize hands-on knowledge of AWS-based cloud infrastructure to support cloud adoption.
• Assist Solutions Architects with technical analysis and input for BI solution design and deployment.
• Ensure proper integration with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and Master Data Management (MDM) platforms and standards.

1. Testing and Troubleshooting:

• Test and troubleshoot BI applications for accuracy and reliability.
• Document metadata and reporting applications.

1. Modern BI Solutions:

• Design and develop Performance Management Dashboards, Business Analytics Models, and Visualizations.
• Provide technical designs and specifications for data integration and storage.
• Automate reporting processes using tools like Power Automate for data upload and report delivery.

1. Lifecycle Support:

• Provide full lifecycle support for BI solutions, from implementation to maturity.

Qualifications

You Have:

• Education: A relevant degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications: Consider certifications such as Power BI, SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric, UI/UX development.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and experience with BI tools (report builders, ad-hoc queries, OLAP, dashboards, data mining, predictive modeling).
• Experience with ERP (e.g., Workday) and Databricks is preferred.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Alteryx, Azure Data Factory, SSIS.
• Familiarity with the Fabric product suite and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Proven initiative and innovation.
• An analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
