Paralegal – Commercial Contracts (Part-Time, Hybrid)

About the Role

Our client, a UK-based leader in flexible electronics, is seeking a skilled Paralegal to provide crucial support to their Legal Counsel. This part-time, hybrid role requires minimal office attendance in Cambridge (one day per month), offering excellent flexibility. The initial contract is for 3 months, with a strong possibility of conversion to a permanent, in-house position for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do

• Handle Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and standard commercial contracts using established templates and guidelines.
• Support contract reviews, including administrative tasks such as tracking, filing, and managing workflows.
• Assist with company secretarial and governance administration under the supervision of the General Counsel.
• Help maintain the legal function's responsiveness and agility by managing tasks that would typically be handled by senior lawyers.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a paralegal, with a focus on commercial contracts, gained either in-house or in private practice.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
• Demonstrated capacity to work independently.
• A genuine interest in technology.

Additional Information

• Location: Cambridge (Hybrid - one day a month in office)
• Schedule: 2-3 days per week
• Start Date: Immediate
• Contract Length: 3 months (with potential for permanent conversion)
