Overview

Due to the significant growth of our iOS app, its #18 ranking in the App Store productivity category, and our recent Apple Design Award for inclusivity, we are seeking a Senior iOS Engineer. This role is crucial for supporting our expanding user base and developing innovative features to advance our mission. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced settings, is passionate about product decisions, and excels at creating delightful user experiences. What You'll Do

• Lead key engineering and product decisions.
• Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
• Collaborate within a dedicated product team.
• Participate in product discussions to shape the future roadmap.
• Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.

An Ideal Candidate Should Have

• Experience: Proven experience with products that have scaled to a large user base.
• Track Record: Experience building products from inception to significant traction, with responsibility for engineering the product.
• Customer Obsession: A deep commitment to providing the best possible customer experience.
• Product Thinking: Ability to make informed decisions about product evolution and guide internal teams.
• Speed & Focus: Capacity to generate ideas quickly, prioritize effectively, and work efficiently in a busy, remote team environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.

Technical Requirements

• Swift Programming Language
• SwiftUI experience
• Experience in Multithreading Programming
• Working with CI/CD infrastructure
• Experience with Fastlane
• Adherence to SOLID principles
• Experience with Git and understanding of various Git strategies

Compensation

• Germany-Based Salary Range: $30,000 - $120,000 USD/Year + Bonus + Stock (depending on experience).
