ISMS Specialist (m/f/d) - Audit & Network Security

The company supports clients across various industries in the implementation, further development, and certification of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) according to ISO/IEC 27001 and BSI IT-Grundschutz. By combining strategic consulting, technical expertise, and practical implementation, it helps organizations sustainably strengthen their information security and successfully meet regulatory requirements.

To strengthen the team at the client's site, we are looking for an experienced ISMS Specialist (m/f/d) with a focus on audit and network security.

📅 Responsibilities

• You will shape, implement, and continuously develop Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), significantly contributing to the sustainable establishment of information security within the organization.
• You will plan, coordinate, and support internal and external audits, and assist in certification processes to ensure regulatory and normative requirements.
• You will conduct protection needs, risk, and vulnerability analyses, deriving targeted measures for risk minimization.
• You will develop and optimize policies, processes, and security concepts, thereby creating the foundation for effective security governance.
• You will analyze existing structures and processes using gap analyses and maturity assessments, identifying potentials for continuous improvement.
• You will competently advise management and specialist departments on topics related to information security, compliance, governance, and business continuity management.
• You will actively participate in the selection, introduction, and further development of modern security solutions and support their successful operation within the IT landscape.
• You will actively contribute to the further development of the security strategy and help to sustainably strengthen the organization's resilience.

🎓 Qualifications

• You hold a successfully completed degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification, and possess a strong passion for information security.
• You have several years of experience in the field of Information Security Management, Governance, Risk & Compliance, or Cyber Security, and are comfortable in complex organizational structures as well as in direct exchange with stakeholders.
• The implementation and further development of information security standards are part of your professional daily routine. You impress with a deep understanding of established frameworks and best practices.
• Ideally, you have supported audit or certification projects and are familiar with the requirements for sustainable compliance and effective security processes firsthand.
• Additional qualifications and certifications in the field of information security underscore your technical expertise and your commitment to continuous development.
• You combine analytical strength with a structured, solution-oriented approach and maintain an overview even with complex issues.
• Your strong communication and consulting skills enable you to convey technical and organizational topics understandably and to successfully bring together different stakeholder groups.
• With your confident demeanor, persuasive ability, and service orientation, you build trust and act as a valued point of contact at all levels.
• You possess fluent German language skills, both written and spoken, and communicate professionally and appropriately for the audience.
