Ihre Aufgaben (Your Responsibilities)

• Provide professional and disciplinary leadership for the Direct Procurement team.
• Develop and implement a global procurement strategy for plastic-based raw materials, semi-finished products, and components.
• Manage procurement volumes, cost optimization, and supplier performance.
• Build and develop strategic supplier relationships nationally and internationally.
• Conduct price and contract negotiations with a focus on plastic granulates, injection molded components, and plastic-related services.
• Identify and realize savings potential along the value chain.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Development, Quality Management, and Supply Chain Management.
• Monitor raw material markets and analyze price developments and supply trends.
• Ensure material availability while considering quality, cost, and sustainability goals.

Ihr Profil (Your Profile)

• Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Plastics Technology, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in direct procurement, ideally with a focus on plastics, injection molding, or technical components.
• Sound knowledge of the plastics market (materials, supplier structures, price developments).
• Experience working with Development and Production, particularly concerning tools and materials.
• Leadership experience and strong negotiation skills.
• Strategic and analytical thinking skills.
• Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken).
