Payroll Professional - VPS

Role Overview

As a Payroll Professional (VPS) at BDO, you will be a key member of a small team serving large clients. You will act as an independent, expert advisor, managing complex payroll administrations, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the expansion of BDO's payroll services. You will be responsible for client communication regarding the approach, processing, and progress of payroll activities, advising on collective labor agreements (CAOs), payroll setup, and tax-friendly remuneration components. You will also serve as a point of contact for colleagues and share responsibility for team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex payroll administrations for large clients.
• Advise clients on the application of CAOs, payroll setup, and tax-friendly remuneration.
• Maintain contact with clients regarding the approach, processing, and progress of work.
• Serve as a go-to resource for payroll-related questions from colleagues.
• Contribute to the development and mentoring of junior team members.
• Participate in expanding BDO's payroll service offerings.

Requirements

• Completed Vakdiploma Payroll Services (VPS).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in payroll tax, social security legislation, and labor law.
• Demonstrated initiative and analytical skills.
• Client-focused and service-oriented approach.
