Sales Application Engineer-Switchboards

Role Overview

Faith Technologies Inc. (FTI) is looking for a Sales Application Engineer-Switchboards to join their Product Sales team. This role serves as the primary technical expert for assigned product lines, partnering with Engineering, Business Development, and Sales teams during pre-sales and post-sales phases. You will be the consultative expert for customers facing complex application questions or requiring specialized integration guidance. The position may be based in Menasha, WI; Olathe, KS; or remote nationwide, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Sales Support: Act as the primary technical expert, supporting customer engagement, specifying solutions, and assisting in closing opportunities.
• Customer Consultation: Provide technical expertise and recommendations to customers throughout project lifecycles, ensuring effective product application.
• Process Development & Improvement: Develop, document, and refine processes for technical sales support and application engineering to enhance efficiency and customer outcomes.
• Technical Quotation Review: Review quotes for technical accuracy, code compliance, and alignment with customer requirements.
• Data Integrity & System Management: Ensure accurate product configuration and documentation, maintaining configurator rules for consistency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product management, and operations to align on product capabilities and resolve technical challenges.
• Product & Application Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of switchboard product lines and their applications.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: 3-5+ years of experience with technical products and customer projects, including roles in sales support, application engineering, or product specialization within manufacturing.
• Specific Experience: Experience with UL891 switchboard applications is preferred.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. Sponsorship is generally not available, except for TN1 Visas (Canadian).
