About the Role: Social Media Ads Manager (Remote)

This is a hands-on builder role focused on driving growth through paid social channels. You will own the Meta paid social program end-to-end, managing strategy, budget, creative, and performance optimization. The role requires a deep understanding of Meta Ads Manager and a performance-driven mindset, measured by CPA and ROAS. You will be responsible for scaling spend profitably and iterating on creative strategy to achieve key performance indicators.

What You'll Own (Your KPIs):

  • Paid social CPA against a defined blended target.
  • ROAS / return on ad spend at the channel level.
  • Spend efficiency and budget pacing.
  • Creative testing velocity and win rate.
  • Channel growth — scaling spend profitably over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own Meta Paid Social: Manage strategy, campaign builds, budget allocation, bidding, audience targeting, optimization, and scaling across the product portfolio.
  • Hit Performance Targets: Manage spend against CPA and ROAS goals, pace budgets, and make daily/weekly optimization decisions.
  • Drive the Creative Engine: Partner with creators and designers to brief, test, and iterate on ad creative, defining the testing roadmap.
  • Run a Disciplined Testing Program: Structure and analyze A/B tests across creative, audiences, placements, and offers.
  • Build Reporting & Feedback Loop: Track performance, surface insights, and collaborate with data teams on attribution and measurement.
  • Expand the Channel: Lead expansion into additional platforms (e.g., YouTube, TikTok) as Meta proves successful.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functionally: Align messaging, landing pages, and audience strategy with paid search teams, agencies, and product teams.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years managing paid social campaigns with direct ownership of budget and performance, ideally in a D2C, subscription, or app/web product environment.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in Meta Ads Manager (campaign structure, Advantage+, audience strategy, pixel/Conversions API, creative-first optimization).
  • Performance-driven mindset, comfortable with data-driven decisions and measured on CPA and ROAS.
  • Strong creative instincts and ability to brief and direct creative.
  • Analytical fluency in reporting tools, attribution, and translating numbers into action.
  • Self-directed and organized, able to prioritize effectively.

Nice to Have:

  • Hands-on experience with YouTube and Google Display ads.
  • Hands-on TikTok Ads experience.
  • Experience scaling a channel from early stage to meaningful spend.
  • Familiarity with SaaS/subscription unit economics.
  • Experience working with creative teams or UGC pipelines.
  • SQL or comfort working with raw performance data.

  • Ruby Labs operates within the CET (Central European Time) zone. Applicants located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET are welcome to ensure optimal collaboration.
