Job Description

EcoVadis seeks a proactive and results-oriented Sales Development Associate to spearhead business growth. This role involves identifying and converting leads, researching market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the buyer journey. It's an excellent opportunity to build a professional network within the ESG, responsible sourcing, and compliance industries, working alongside industry leaders with substantial learning and growth potential.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Drive New Business: Own the full outreach motion (LinkedIn, email, video, cold calling) to generate EcoVadis revenue.
  • Master the Conversation: Conduct high-level discovery and educational calls with Senior Executives (Sustainability & Procurement) about ESG solutions.
  • Qualify with MEDDPICC: Use consultative questioning to identify high-potential opportunities and schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives.
  • Be a Sustainability Advocate: Articulate the importance of CSR and sustainable supply chains to Global 500 companies.
  • Strategic Prospecting: Research target accounts and map key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate for Growth: Partner with Marketing and Account Executives (AEs) on call strategies, messaging, and lead lists.
  • Full Funnel Management: Proactively follow up, handle objections, and nurture leads.
  • Data & Insights: Manage all activity in Salesforce to track performance and identify trends.
  • Represent the Brand: Leverage social selling and represent EcoVadis at industry events.

Qualifications

  • Foundations: University degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
  • Sales-First Mindset: Proactive approach, enthusiasm for sales, strong resilience, and ability to navigate objections.
  • Cold Calling Confidence: Experience or strong desire to engage decision-makers via phone professionally.
  • Technical Literacy: Familiarity with modern sales tools, including AI tooling (Claude & Gemini), Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesloft.
  • "EcoVadis" Edge: Natural curiosity for Sustainability, ESG, or CSR; experience in these areas is a significant plus.
  • Coachability & Growth: Self-starter mentality with openness to feedback and a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Organizational Mastery: Ability to stay focused, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high-volume outreach.
  • Business Acumen: Strong active listening skills and ability to map EcoVadis' value to prospect goals and ROI.
  • Number Driven: Results-oriented mindset focused on data and conversion metrics.
