What You Will Do

As a Sales Engineer, you will combine technical expertise with customer-facing sales support. You will work with prospective customers to understand requirements, demonstrate products, design technical solutions, answer technical questions, and support the sales process through evaluations, proofs of concept, and implementation planning. This role bridges the gap between sales, engineering, and customer success teams to help customers adopt the right solution.

Pre-Sales Engineers are responsible for satisfying the needs of new and existing customers to maximize their experience with SOTI products, including providing technical support, driving revenue through add-on sales, professional service training, and following up on support cases.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow revenue through consultative selling with clients and prospects, acting as a warm, professional, well-spoken, and caring representative of SOTI.
  • Conduct onsite and remote demonstrations of SOTI products.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support to prospective customers.
  • Analyze SOTI's market segment and generate recommendations for product roadmaps.
  • Investigate issues reported by customers and communicate with internal product development teams to resolve product issues.
  • Provide email and telephone-based pre- and post-sales technical support for our software products.

Qualifications

  • Education in computer science, networking, or a similar field.
  • Interest in participating in and contributing to sales processes.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch with excellent communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of computer networking principles.
  • Knowledge of mobile computing platforms.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize workload, consistently working within service standards and agreed objectives.
  • Willingness to travel to on-site customer locations (mainly in the Benelux region).

Compensation

  • Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 EUR annually, with a commission structure on top.
