The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and driven Sales Engineer to join our exceptional team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving new customer acquisition by providing expert technical and sales assistance, effectively integrating our world-class products into client environments. This is an ambitious opportunity to showcase your expertise and make a significant impact in a rapidly growing company.
How You'll Spend Your Time Here:
- Drive new customer opportunities by delivering compelling technical sales assistance and articulating Cohesity's value proposition to diverse audiences.
- Enable seamless integration of Cohesity products into customer production environments.
- Develop and lead secondary storage technology strategies for key accounts and partners, positioning Cohesity as the primary solution.
- Communicate Cohesity's vision through engaging product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, and proposals.
- Identify customer needs and develop tailored Proof of Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate Cohesity's capabilities.
- Act as a field representative, collaborating with product management to relay customer requirements for product development.
- Provide project management and post-sales technical support to ensure customer success.

Essential Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools for productivity and decision-making.
- Experience working with both clients and technology partners to foster strong relationships.
- Proven experience selling and implementing Enterprise Hardware/Software, Cloud Platforms (IaaS, PaaS), or Virtual Infrastructure software.
- Comfort engaging with multiple decision-makers to drive proposals and close business.
- Exceptional presentation skills, adept at communicating technical and business concepts to various group sizes.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and autonomous, capable of working remotely to achieve targets.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or 8+ years of equivalent relevant experience.
Location
Headquartered in Santa Clara, CA, with offices around the globe. This role implies a need for potential travel.
