Job Description Summary

As a customer-facing staff member, you will be responsible for winning business by executing standard sales tasks under defined instructions and work routines. There is flexibility to adjust task sequencing based on changing work situations. This role may involve managing targeted clients, stable regions, and/or small to medium-sized sales territories.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Focus on acquiring new customers, typically with minimal existing client interaction, and requiring due diligence. This includes key accounts within a single business unit/P&L.
  • Expand knowledge of sales territories, product lines, markets, sales processes, and customer segments to execute policies and strategies. Continuously cultivate advanced knowledge and skills.
  • Understand the fundamentals of key business drivers and apply this understanding to job functions. Recognize how your team's work integrates with other teams and contributes to the broader field.
  • May possess a degree of autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolve issues encountered in standard procedures with sound business knowledge and judgment. Consult with more senior team members on issues beyond defined instructions/parameters.
  • This level requires good interpersonal skills. Communicate provided design and coordination services to directly related colleagues and business units. For customer-facing roles, build strong customer relationships and act as the interface between the customer and GE HealthCare. Present technical information to others.

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires foundational work experience in the field. Educational level equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution (or a High School diploma based on relevant work experience).

Required Characteristics

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
