Chime is looking for a visionary Creative Director to lead the creative strategy, systems, and execution for our Growth and Product Marketing teams. Reporting to the Head of Creative, this role will be instrumental in defining the creative vision and output across a broad spectrum of marketing initiatives, including performance marketing, lifecycle communications, web content, organic growth content, DRTV, product branding, and product go-to-market campaigns.
This position sits at the critical intersection of brand, growth, product storytelling, and emerging technology. You will translate member insights, product value propositions, and audience behavior into creative assets that effectively drive acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention. We seek a creative leader who understands that exceptional growth creative is, fundamentally, great creative: insight-led, emotionally resonant, distinctive, brand-building, and engineered to drive measurable action. You should be energized by the unique creative challenges inherent in growth marketing—crafting work that connects, converts, learns, improves, and reaches a wider audience with greater relevance.
This is a people management role for an individual adept at building and leading high-performing creative teams, nurturing talent, and establishing systems that enable great ideas to scale effectively. It is also a hands-on creative leadership position. You will manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team while remaining closely involved in the creative process, applying your strong creative instincts and contributing directly when necessary.
You will play a key role in shaping the future of Chime's AI-enabled creative practice. This involves exploring how new tools, workflows, and agent-powered systems can enhance speed, personalization, experimentation, localization, versioning, quality assurance, performance analysis, and overall scale—all without compromising creative craft, distinctiveness, or brand quality.
