Deine Aufgaben

• Hands-on Data Analysis & Data Science: You will analyze our complex data and derive valuable insights using Data Mining, Clustering, Forecasting, or Recommendation Classification. You will ensure the accuracy of our data across various systems.
• Enable Data-Driven Decisions: You will analyze our data, prepare the results understandably, and derive concrete strategic measures. You will work closely with Product Management, Community Management, and Executive Management – not in an ivory tower, but as a sparring partner at eye level. You will link quantitative analyses with qualitative community feedback to enable well-founded decisions and establish best practices like code reviews and documentation.
• Hands-on Data Analysis & Data Science: You will work operationally with our complex data and derive valuable insights using Data Mining, Clustering, Forecasting, or Recommendation Classification. You will ensure the accuracy of our data across various systems and establish best practices like code reviews and documentation.
• Team Leadership & Data Culture: Our Data Science area is undergoing transformation – and you will help shape it. You will take on the professional and, prospectively, disciplinary leadership of a small team, promote the development of your colleagues, and structurally expand the area. Together with the management, you will define the long-term data strategy and establish a true data culture within the company.

Ausbildung (Education/Qualifications)

• You have successfully completed a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a comparable qualification.

Your Profile (Requirements)

• Business Understanding: You can not only analyze data but also explain it and translate it into practical benefits. You recognize patterns, understand their business implications, and think in terms of product solutions – not just algorithms.
• Communication Skills: You can convey complex contexts understandably to non-technical people and present yourself confidently – even when you need to challenge existing assumptions with data.
• Leadership Potential: You are eager to take on responsibility – whether as a mentor, in project management, or through technical guidance. Formal leadership experience is a plus, but not a requirement. The key is your desire to motivate and develop a team.
• Analytical Strength: You have a quick grasp, work in a structured manner, and enjoy analyzing large amounts of data – both structured and unstructured.
• AI Mindset: You understand AI (e.g., LLMs, Copilots) as an integral part of modern work. You routinely use relevant tools and have ideas on how we can profitably use AI for our data analyses or product.
• Tech Stack: Strong knowledge of SQL and Python (including frameworks like pandas, sklearn). Experience with statistical analyses and databases, as well as Excel/Google Sheets for preparing and visualizing results. You have profound knowledge in Machine Learning (Forecasting, Clustering, Categorization) and Deep Learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Language Skills: Negotiable German (at least C1) and English skills are required.

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge of Java and Mixpanel.

The stated salary range refers to 32 hours per week. The exact number of hours is flexible for us – we will clarify what works for you in the conversation.
