How You'll Make an Impact:

This position is available onsite in Paris, London, Berlin, and Amsterdam, or remote from these countries.

As a Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET), your mission is to guarantee the delivery of top-quality products. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our users have the best possible experience. Dataiku's platform is built using modern web technologies and integrates with a vast ecosystem of big data technologies. Our testing stack leverages Python, Pytest, Selenium, and Allure, with CI managed by Jenkins and extensive use of AWS features. Developers actively participate in writing automated integration tests alongside the QA team.

Your Contributions:

• Develop advanced automated test suites to validate applications at all levels.
• Define manual testing plans, test strategies, and prioritize testing efforts.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure the creation of testable code.
• Enhance existing test infrastructure and frameworks (e.g., VMs, containers, auto-provisioning, UI testing).
• Mentor and support new QA team members.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Experience in software test engineering with a strong focus on automation (API and/or UI testing).
• Belief in collaboration with developers as key to a successful testing strategy.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, C++).
• A collaborative approach to discussing and implementing technical choices.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Basic knowledge of Machine Learning.

Hiring Process:

• Debrief of the technical test with the VP of Test Engineering.
• Final interview with a VP of Engineering.
