About the Role

Spire Global is looking for an ambitious, self-directed Sales Manager to accelerate revenue growth across EMEA and APAC, focusing on advancing the digitization of the global weather and climate ecosystem. This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role with the autonomy of a regional owner.

What You’ll Do

  • Own a territory: Develop and execute a territory plan for EMEA and APAC, identifying new business opportunities and managing existing client accounts.
  • Exceed targets: Consistently meet and surpass assigned quotas through effective prospecting, qualification, and full-cycle deal execution.
  • Build lasting relationships: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders within the weather, climate, and earth intelligence sectors.
  • Sell consultatively: Employ a solution-selling approach to identify clients' operational challenges and propose tailored offerings based on Spire's data products.
  • Master the product: Gain deep expertise in Spire’s data products and platforms to effectively communicate their value to diverse audiences.
  • Deliver winning proposals: Prepare and present compelling sales presentations, proposals, and tender responses.
  • Negotiate and close: Lead commercial negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial agreements and close deals.
  • Manage your pipeline: Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline, ensuring rigorous forecasting and timely follow-up.
  • Know the market: Track industry trends, competitive movements, and emerging opportunities within your regions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with marketing, product, meteorology, and customer success teams to ensure client satisfaction and provide market insights.

Who You Are

  • 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, with a focus on data products, SaaS, or API-based solutions.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Strong understanding of the weather and climate industry, or significant experience selling digital transformation into data-driven sectors (e.g., energy, maritime, aviation, agriculture, logistics).
  • Consultative, value-based selling style with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships across diverse cultures, time zones, and seniority levels.
  • Proficiency with modern sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo).
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and effective working independently in a remote, globally distributed team.
  • Fluent in English; willingness to travel as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, preferably in a high-tech field.
