Customer Service Representative (Dental & Vision Benefits) Remote in TX or In-Office San Antonio

About the Role

Ameritas is seeking Customer Service Representatives to drive business by providing exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations and fosters customer loyalty. This is an inbound call center position focused on communicating with providers and insured members regarding eligibility, plan provisions, claim status, and other pertinent information within the Group (dental and vision) insurance division.

What You Will Do

• Communicate via phone or written correspondence with policyholders, providers, plan participants, and field partners to address inquiries, process transactions, or resolve issues.
• Document customer interactions and related data electronically.
• Provide back-office support to service teams.
• Maintain confidentiality of plan participants and policyholders to ensure compliance with privacy policies and procedures.
• Support department goals by meeting established service standards and metrics.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of related experience; contact center, customer service, dental office, and/or insurance experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to work overtime as required to support business needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate initiative when assessing situations.
• Proficient computer and keyboarding skills.
