Field and Event Marketer

About Your Role

As a Field and Event Marketer at Pogo, you will own conferences, dinners, and IRL events as core B2B channels. You'll manage a high volume of events year-round, from logistics and project management to evaluating their effectiveness and planning future participation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end logistics for the conference and dinner program, including venues, vendors, travel, materials, staffing, and follow-up.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with event organizers, venues, and partners.
  • Evaluate the Return on Investment (ROI) for every event to determine future worthiness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure Pogo's brand presence is exceptional at every in-person touchpoint, including event displays, dinner menus, and swag.
  • Travel up to twice a month to ensure the highest priority events run smoothly.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure events drive conversions.
  • Execute creative guerrilla marketing experiments where innovation is prioritized over budget.

About You

Qualifications

  • Likely 1–6 years of experience in conference servicing, field marketing, or events at a tech company.
  • Strong operational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple events concurrently with numerous moving parts.

  • A keen sense of aesthetics and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality presentation across all event elements (booths, dinners, swag, communications).

  • Proven ability to operate autonomously, identifying opportunities and managing tasks independently.
  • Willingness to travel up to twice a month, primarily within the US.
  • Active user of AI tools in your workflows.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Demonstrated creativity in guerrilla marketing.
  • Experience in consumer insights.

  • Fast-Paced & Lean: We operate with minimal structure, valuing speed and autonomy over extensive agency support or lengthy planning cycles. You'll need to be comfortable figuring things out as you go.
