✨ AI Insights & Summary

This Growth Marketer role at Pogo presents a unique and rare opportunity to diversify your paid acquisition expertise across both a consumer mobile app and a B2B product line. The company emphasizes a fast-paced, data-driven environment where you'll have significant influence over strategy and budget, making it an ideal position for ambitious marketers looking to build a versatile career profile and gain broad experience in a dynamic startup setting.

About the Role

As a Growth Marketer at Pogo, you will join our paid acquisition team and manage paid acquisition campaigns across two distinct business models: our consumer mobile app and our B2B product line. This hybrid role is designed for someone who can operate effectively in both domains, offering a scope that builds a more versatile career profile than most paid acquisition roles. You will be instrumental in driving growth and optimizing marketing efforts across these diverse channels.

Responsibilities

  • Execute paid acquisition campaigns across paid social (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn), programmatic/DSP, and out-of-home (billboards, direct mail).
  • Contribute to channel and budget strategy for both business motions, identifying areas for investment and optimization.
  • Manage the technical aspects of mobile app marketing for the consumer side, including MMPs, attribution, and SKAdNetwork.
  • Apply rigorous analytical methods to all spending decisions, focusing on metrics like CAC, ROAS, LTV, pipeline, and attribution.
  • Collaborate with marketing, creative, and product teams on landing pages, ad creative, and full-funnel optimization.
  • Test, iterate, and scale successful strategies and campaigns.

About You

  • Possess 3-6 years of paid acquisition experience at a tech company with significant paid spend, having owned substantial budgets.
  • Demonstrated experience running paid acquisition in both consumer mobile and B2B contexts.
  • Ability to manage multiple paid channels concurrently, with a strong perspective on channel effectiveness and budget allocation.
  • Proficiency in the technical aspects of mobile app marketing, including MMPs, attribution, and SKAdNetwork.
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making, with the ability to defend spend decisions using metrics like CAC, ROAS, LTV, and attribution.
  • Experience in a fast-growing organization with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
  • Actively utilize AI tools in your workflows.
  • Bonus: Experience in mobile gaming or out-of-home/direct mail marketing.

Why You Might Be Excited About This Opportunity

Why You Might Not Be Excited About Us

  • Role Breadth: This is not a narrow specialist role; requires comfort switching between consumer mobile, B2B, attribution, creative, and budget planning.
  • Efficiency & Accountability: High emphasis on data-driven decisions (CAC, ROAS, LTV, attribution, pipeline impact), requiring comfort defending quantitative analyses.
  • Rapid Change: Budgets, priorities, and strategies can shift quickly based on performance and market learning; requires adaptability and a focus on aggressive optimization.
  • Hands-on Execution: Requires balancing strategic planning with hands-on campaign management, technical troubleshooting, and content creation.
  • Workload Expectation: While flexible schedules are supported, the current stage requires significant effort beyond standard hours. Unlimited PTO is offered, with a minimum 20-day vacation policy to encourage recharging.
