Job Description: Product Manager (Kidney Care Platform)
Our digital product team is crucial to enabling our kidney care platform, and we are expanding. This opportunity is for a Product Manager to drive product outcomes that solve critical business problems, focusing on executing strategy and tracking outcomes for a key clinical capability. We seek a candidate who is an expert relationship builder, has a bias towards action, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, and is dedicated to seeing problems through to solutions.
Location
Remote in the US, with a preference for candidates local to Denver, CO (requiring 3 onsite visits per month if local).
Responsibilities
Execution & Delivery:
- Participate in product discovery through product delivery.
- Collaborate with business partners, users, designers, and engineering to achieve business objectives.
- Perform story mapping and identify cross-team dependencies.
- Prepare for and participate in Roadmap Planning and sprint activities.
- Partner with legal, compliance, security, and risk teams.
- Guide user-facing communication and education.
Discovery & Strategy:
- Refine vision and strategy for the product area with product leadership.
- Execute discovery activities with engineering and UX/research to identify user needs.
- Collaborate with UX to create validated user experiences.
- Conduct end-user shadowing/interviews with stakeholders to understand user problems.
- Advance the product by understanding DaVita's identified business problems.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Identify and track OKRs for outcome-based advancements.
- Use data in formulating quantifiable problem statements and solution hypotheses.
- Leverage product analytics for informed decisions and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and prioritize potential features, aligning them to objectives and key results (OKRs).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience: 4+ years of product experience, focused on digital products.
- Skills: Business acumen, curiosity, leadership desire, exceptional problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
- Collaboration: Ability to inspire others, juggle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a rapidly changing organization; easily builds expertise in unfamiliar domains.
- Relationship Building: Strong ability to partner with technical, clinical, and senior business stakeholders.
- Health Tech Experience: Experience building health tech products and 0-1 products from inception to launch.
- Requirements Writing: Experience writing user stories, creating complex spreadsheets/presentations, working in healthcare, or delivering web/mobile applications.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in nephrology practices, EHR systems, or renal patient care is a strong asset.
