Job Description: Project Manager (Translations Department)

As a Project Manager in our translations department, you will be instrumental in overseeing multiple language-related projects concurrently. Your core responsibilities will include ensuring projects are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and remain within scope. Through effective communication, you will clarify project expectations for both internal teams and external clients, providing regular updates on project progress and status. You will collaborate closely with the project management team and language professionals, seeking guidance as needed to guarantee project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple language-related projects simultaneously, utilizing project management tools to ensure on-time and within-scope delivery.
  • Assist in maintaining and creating project schedules and timelines, ensuring alignment with SLAs, achievability, and client requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and reporting on challenges and successes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and communications, using software like SharePoint for accurate record-keeping.
  • Prepare quotes and invoices using project management and accounting software to drive revenue and meet business objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards and project management procedures to uphold our reputation for high-quality language services.
  • Identify errors and areas for improvement, reporting these to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide support during meetings, including documenting discussions and distributing minutes and action items.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, management, or language studies.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in managing localization projects.
  • Language Skills: Essential fluency in English. Proficiency in an additional language is advantageous.
