About the Role

As a PDM Application Developer, you will be responsible for developing new applications and enhancing existing ones within the team. This includes configuring and adapting functions on existing PLM/PDM systems, as well as operating and maintaining system components. You will analyze requirements, design solutions, implement, and test applications, manage work packages, and integrate applications into the client's landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Development: Develop new and extend existing applications within the team.
  • System Configuration & Adaptation: Configure and adapt functions on existing PLM/PDM systems.
  • System Operation & Maintenance: Operate and maintain PLM/PDM system components.
  • Requirements Management: Analyze requirements, design, specify, implement, and test applications.
  • Project Planning: Plan work packages, considering budget and time.
  • System Integration: Integrate applications into the R&S PDM and IT landscape.
  • Documentation & Training: Create necessary documentation and conduct training.
  • User Support: Provide 2nd level support, including user consultation and troubleshooting, as well as user training.

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming languages.
  • General knowledge of software development.
  • Strong customer/service orientation.

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Languages: German & English.
