About the Role
As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be a vital member of our team, acting as a supporter, strategist, and behavioural detective. Your work will be hands-on, deeply meaningful, and genuinely life-changing for the individuals you support.
What You'll Be Doing
- Evaluating, developing, and delivering evidence-based support plans.
- Creating meaningful goals using a positive behaviour support framework.
- Building capacity in the support network of our participants, including families, carers, friends, and support workers.
- Collaborating effectively within a brilliant multidisciplinary team.
- Championing the reduction and elimination of restrictive practices.
Who You'll Thrive With Us If You:
- Hold a degree in allied health or a related field.
- Possess experience in reading, implementing, reviewing, or creating behaviour support plans.
- Hold NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner status.
- Note: If you don't yet have BSP registration, we can support you in achieving it.
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for disability support.
- Have experience working with complex and challenging behaviours.
- Enjoy working with people and possess strong writing skills for necessary documentation.
