About the Role

IPAR is looking for passionate Occupational Therapists to join our team on the Gold Coast, working within the Occupational Rehabilitation sector. Based in our Robina office, you will manage a diverse caseload across the Gold Coast region, with occasional travel to support our Ballina team. We are also open to this role being based from Ballina. You will be part of a close-knit, supportive, and multidisciplinary team, including Psychologists, Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists, and other Occupational Therapists. Plus, you'll share the office with our much-loved dog, Artie!

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Case management with support from Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks.
  • Assisting individuals with injuries or health conditions to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes.
  • Liaising with employers, case managers, medical professionals, and insurers for clinical updates and goal alignment.
  • Working across various schemes including workers' compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, and Department of Veteran's Affairs.
  • Conducting comprehensive ADL assessments to evaluate functional abilities and support needs, making recommendations for equipment, modifications, or services.
  • Preparing timely, high-quality reports outlining findings, recommendations, and clinical reasoning.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
  • Full Professional Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist or eligibility to obtain.
  • Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy.
  • A current QLD Driver’s License and access to your own car with comprehensive insurance.
