About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Consultant with a strong background in Java and DevOps to join our innovative team. This role requires hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker, and automation using Jenkins and Python. You will be instrumental in resolving technical incidents and developing new solutions, working operatively from day one.

Responsibilities

• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Jenkins and Docker.
• Incident Resolution: Address broken pipelines, Jenkins errors, Docker onboarding issues, and other operational problems.
• Development & Automation: Develop new applications and scripts in Java and Python, including pipeline integration for mobile apps.
• Pipeline as Code: Manage and optimize all build and deployment processes as code, ensuring traceability and efficiency.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams, utilizing the Atlassian suite for project coordination and issue tracking.
• Immediate Contribution: Be operational from day one, capable of managing both incidents and new developments independently.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Technical Consultant.
• Experience with Java and DevOps, applying best development and deployment practices.
• Proficiency in using Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
• Experience with Docker and creating pipelines as code.
• Knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.
• Experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) for project management and collaboration.
• Ability to resolve incidents related to broken pipelines, Docker onboarding, and provide operational support.
• Skill in working operationally from the first day, managing incidents and new developments without constant supervision.

Additionally, experience and/or knowledge in the following are highly valued:

• Previous experience in fast-paced development and DevOps projects.
• Advanced knowledge in Docker, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in integrating mobile apps into build pipelines.
• Certifications related to Java, DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Experience working with agile methodologies and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams.
