About Blickfeld
Blickfeld is developing its own innovative LiDAR technology based on a seamless MEMS mirror. Our sensors create high-resolution 3D data of the environment, providing detailed information about the size, position, and velocity of objects. This enables us to analyze the form and movement of people, vehicles, and other objects for a wide range of applications, including security, volume measurement, traffic management, and smart cities.
About the Role
As part of our innovative software team, you will contribute to the integration of our LiDAR sensors into modern security environments. After an onboarding phase, you will work with a high degree of personal responsibility on interoperability testing, system integrations, and the development of device software components.
Responsibilities
- System Integration: Test the interoperability of our LiDAR devices with various Video Management Systems (VMS) and Video Surveillance Platforms (CCTV) to ensure seamless integration into existing security environments.
- Test Environment Maintenance: Maintain and expand the test environment used for validating device integrations, including installing and configuring VMS platforms and troubleshooting the test infrastructure.
- Software Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of our device integration stack by implementing, integrating, and debugging software components running on the device.
- Validation & Documentation: Document integration results, compliance findings, and system behavior to support interoperability improvements and product development.
Requirements
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, or a comparable technical field.
- Programming Skills: Proficient in Python and TypeScript, familiar with object-oriented design principles, and comfortable in complex development environments.
- Automated Testing: Experience with testing frameworks like PyTest and knowledge of modern testing methodologies.
- Technical Stack (Plus): Experience with GitLab, Docker, CI/CD tools, CMake, Asyncio, Protobuf, gRPC, RTSP, gStreamer, SOAP, Web Services, or ONVIF is advantageous.
- Mindset: Enjoy solving technical problems and contributing to reliable and robust software solutions.
- Communication & Languages: Fluent in English and enjoy working in an international team.
