ivl is the IT service provider for the City of Leverkusen and Energieversorgung Leverkusen, serving as the central point of contact for information technology within the city's corporate group. We operate as a full-service IT provider with a broad and innovative range of services, including highly secure data centers, software development, and customer-oriented support. Our approximately 100 employees are dedicated to ensuring the IT infrastructure and digitalization of public administration, energy supply, and numerous other public enterprises and schools in Leverkusen.

Your Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for defined departments within the city administration, responsible for building and maintaining trusting customer relationships.
• Manage the collaboration between departments and IT, ensuring transparent priorities, clear responsibilities, and reliable outcomes.
• Provide consultation on IT services, digitalization initiatives, and strategic development opportunities.
• Ensure the implementation of agreed-upon measures, keeping track of progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Foster a solution-oriented collaboration and resolve conflicts and escalations.

Your Qualifications

• Completed commercial or technical apprenticeship or a comparable qualification, ideally with experience in the IT service industry.
• Experience in supporting clients, stakeholders, or departments, with a genuine enjoyment for coordinating complex organizational or IT-related topics.
• Familiarity with the structures and processes of municipal administration, or the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with them, coupled with a good understanding of IT services and digitalization processes.
• Excellent communication, moderation, and consulting skills, with the ability to align diverse interests and clearly convey complex issues.
• High degree of customer orientation, reliability, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, structured, and solution-oriented.
