Job Description
As a Software Tester (m/f/d), you will be responsible for conducting tests and ensuring the high-quality functionality of our applications. Depending on your location, you will either work together with your team twice a week at the Headquarter in Erkrath or have the option to work up to 100% remotely.
- Derive requirements and specifications for our test cases.
- Take responsibility for the conception, implementation, and maintenance of automated End-to-End-Tests with Playwright.
- Work closely with your Scrum team to ensure the quality of development iterations.
- Monitor production-critical tests.
- Document your tests in common test management tools.
- Be responsible for the further development of the test strategy within the team, e.g., in the areas of Visual Regression, Synthetic Monitoring, or Monitoring as Code.
- Handle the analysis and reporting of test results.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in E2E test automation, ideally with Playwright or similar tools.
- Experience in exploratory and manual testing.
- Experience with test methods such as Smoke Tests, Regression Testing, Page Object Models, or Cross-Browser testing.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, as well as CI/CD environments (e.g., GitLab Pipelines).
- Experience with test management tools (ideally Testmo), monitoring (e.g., Checkly), Synthetic Monitoring, or test data management.
- Ideally, practical knowledge of load and performance testing.
- Ideally, initial experience with the use of AI in testing.
- Fluent German (C1) and good English language skills for effective team communication.
- Enthusiasm for actively shaping structures and processes and a self-dependent, responsible working style.
- Very good communication and teamwork skills.
