The Role: Demand Generation Marketer

We are seeking a Demand Generation Marketer to take full ownership of our presence at industry events, tradeshows, and conferences across North America. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone with 1-4 years of experience who excels at logistics, thrives in fast-paced settings, and is driven by successful event execution. You will be the key person responsible for sourcing events, managing them end-to-end, and ensuring each event directly contributes to sales pipeline and revenue.

Why This Role is a Great Opportunity

This role offers high visibility from day one, allowing you to shape the company's perception among customers, prospects, and the industry. It's an ideal position for individuals looking to grow rapidly, take on significant ownership, and build a portfolio of impactful events.

What You'll Do

  • Event Strategy & Sourcing: Research, evaluate, and recommend tradeshows, conferences, and industry events aligned with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and revenue goals. Maintain a rolling 12-month event calendar.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Manage relationships with event organizers, vendors, and venues. Negotiate sponsorships, booth space, speaking slots, and other arrangements to optimize budget.
  • End-to-End Event Planning & Execution: Oversee all logistical details, including booth design and shipping, swag, collateral, lead capture, AV, catering, and team travel.
  • On-Site Management: Attend events to set up, tear down, troubleshoot, and ensure a polished brand presence.
  • Team Briefing & Coordination: Prepare attending team members with event objectives, talking points, target accounts, and logistics.
  • Pipeline Generation: Partner closely with sales to book pre-show meetings, host on-site events, and ensure prompt lead follow-up.
  • Pre- & Post-Event Campaigns: Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional activities (email, landing pages, social media) to drive booth traffic and meeting bookings.
  • Budget Management: Manage event spend across the calendar, track costs, forecast accurately, and make strategic budget decisions.
  • KPI Definition & Reporting: Set clear KPIs for each event (leads, meetings, pipeline, ROI) and deliver comprehensive post-event reports on performance and areas for improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • 1-4 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event coordination, preferably in B2B or tech.
  • Proven experience managing events end-to-end, with demonstrable results.
  • Experience managing event budgets, including forecasting, tracking spend, and optimizing ROI.
  • Ability to define KPIs and report on event impact on pipeline and revenue.
  • Proficiency in AI: Demonstrated use of AI tools and workflows to enhance event marketing tasks (e.g., research, vendor outreach, reporting, content drafting, lead enrichment). This is a mandatory requirement.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and multiple vendors.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with vendors and event organizers.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Resilience and strong problem-solving abilities to handle on-site event challenges.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 30-50% across North America during peak seasons, with potential for European travel.
