The Role: Financial Reporting Analyst

Addepar is looking for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join the FP&A Team. This role is critical in building and owning key reporting functions that measure and guide business execution. You will be instrumental in developing reports and models within Pigment, providing insights that help partners across the business achieve company goals. This is a role within a young, flexible, and innovative company where strong business insights and communication skills are essential.

What You'll Do

• Support the financial close process and related reporting, including prepaid analysis and vendor cost reviews.
• Design, automate, and optimize flexible financial planning models, systems, and processes to meet the needs of a dynamic, fast-growing business.
• Build dashboards and conduct variance and operational reviews.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making and optimize return on investment (ROI).

Who You Are

• Possess a numbers and outcome-oriented mindset.
• Have working experience with financial reporting tools such as Pigment, Adaptive, or Anaplan.
• Exhibit a high attention to detail with a focus on understanding the underlying drivers of financial data.
• Seek precision in models while understanding the importance of focusing on significant figures.
• Have at least 2-3 years of experience in a financial analyst, consulting, or investment banking role.
• Demonstrate proven expertise with Excel/Sheets; knowledge of SQL and Looker/BI data is helpful.
• Ability to independently develop and manage financial models.
• Skilled in working effectively with all organizational levels, from clerical staff to executives, and managing relationships with external parties.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $70,000 - $88,000 (base salary) + bonus + equity + benefits.
• Note: This range is for Canada and reflects base salary only. The recruiter can provide more specific details during the hiring process.

Location & Work Authorization

• Location: Applicants must be based in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, or Ontario.
• Work Authorization: Must have legal authorization to work in the country where the role is based on the first day of employment. Visa sponsorship is not available.
