About the Role

Join Spotify's US Agency Team as an Agency Development Lead, focusing on building and managing 1:1 strategic partnerships with major agency partners. This role is integral to driving business outcomes and maximizing long-term revenue by operating at the intersection of media, technology, and commercial strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Agency partnership teams, overseeing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and action new opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Own the development and implementation of Joint Business Plan (JBP) priorities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with Agency Trading, Investment, Activation, and Product teams to accelerate adoption of Spotify’s automation, self-service, and programmatic solutions.
  • Strategically advise partners on evolving agency needs, identifying gaps and opportunities.
  • Act as a strategic consultant on emerging areas like Ads Manager, programmatic, measurement, data collaboration, AI-enabled workflows, and agency operating models.
  • Evangelize Spotify and Spotify Advertising initiatives to key stakeholders.
  • Manage internal and external partnership communications, including market updates, toolkits, and reporting.
  • Spearhead the internal community of cross-functional partners supporting key agencies.
  • Project manage the execution of scalable programs, including education, data/insights, and tool management.
  • Inform future partnership development and innovation initiatives.

Who You Are

  • 8+ years of experience driving revenue growth, strategic partnerships, and business development in media platforms, ad tech, or related fields.
  • Experience working with major Agency holding companies or platform-based advertising businesses is strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of modern digital media buying ecosystems (self-service platforms, programmatic, ad tech, data activation, measurement).
  • Strategic operator with a service mindset, passionate about helping others succeed.
  • High emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
  • Strong executive presence, comfortable engaging with C-level and mid-level executives.
  • Adept at discussing both commercial strategy and technical platform capabilities.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and matrixed organizations, with strong influencing skills.
  • Skilled in developing and delivering high-impact presentations and leading education programs.
  • Proficient in discussing ad tech, automation, measurement, data collaboration, and AI-driven workflows.
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms, audience and measurement solutions, automation, programmatic buying, and data-driven activation.
  • Understanding of how modern advertising is bought, including automation, self-service, programmatic, and AI-enabled workflows.

Where You’ll Be

  • This role is based out of our NYC office.
  • Hybrid work model: 2-3 days per week in the office, with flexibility for remote work.

Compensation & Benefits

  • US Base Range: $162,680 - $232,400 (plus equity and bonus/commission).
