Your Mission

We are looking for you as a Senior Software Developer Test Systems (m/f/d) for Radio Communication Systems at the Berlin location (hybrid).

Responsibilities

Your tasks include:

• Conception, development, and further development of automated test systems for flight radio communication systems
• Setup and integration of a superior end-to-end test system for complex overall systems in the field of directed radio communication using AESA technology
• Development and implementation of test pipelines (CI/CD) for continuous verification
• Creation and maintenance of test interfaces (APIs, protocols) to the system under test
• Automated recording, evaluation, and visualization of measurement and test results
• Ensuring requirements coverage through structured test concepts and traceability
• Preparation and safeguarding of demonstration flights through comprehensive system tests
• Integration and operation of test environments and test servers (e.g., Jenkins)
• Use and maintenance of test management and requirements tools (e.g., X-Ray, Jama)
• Close collaboration with development, system engineering, and integration teams

Your Profile

The following knowledge and skills you should definitely bring with you:

• Several years of experience in the development of software for test automation
• In-depth experience in the design and setup of test pipelines (CI/CD)
• Very good knowledge of GitLab (CI/CD, repository management)
• Experience with test management tools such as X-Ray and requirements tools such as Jama
• Experience in setting up and operating test servers (e.g., Jenkins)
• Experience in integrating hardware and software tests, ideally in the RF environment
• Knowledge in the analysis, evaluation, and visualization of test results
• Experience with interface development (e.g., REST, TCP/IP, serial communication)
• Very good spoken and written German is required for effective communication within the project environment and with our German-speaking customers.
