The Opportunity

We are looking for experienced professionals to successfully manage complex customer projects and actively contribute to building our German deployment organization. As a Senior Implementation Project Manager / Implementation Project Lead, you will be responsible for our most successful and complex customer implementations in Germany and play a central role in establishing our local delivery organization.

Your Responsibilities

Leading Complex Customer Implementations

• End-to-end management of strategic enterprise implementation projects, from discovery workshops to go-live and stabilization.
• Development and management of detailed project plans, including milestones, dependencies, and resources.

Stakeholder & Escalation Management

• Collaborate with and manage demanding stakeholders on the client side (CEOs, department heads, IT managers).
• Proactive risk and escalation management in complex project environments.
• Ensure smooth go-live and sustainable adoption of the padoa platform.

Building a Scalable Delivery Organization

• Develop processes, methodologies, quality standards, templates, and best practices.
• Establish scalable delivery structures for the German market.
• Work closely with the Operations Director Germany on planning, prioritization, and resource management.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and support our 4 Deployment Project Managers.
• Foster best practices and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Contribute to building a high-performing, growing delivery organization.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Coordinate closely with Product, Data Migration, Support, and international teams.
• Ensure a consistent and scalable implementation approach across different countries.

Your Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of project management experience in complex software implementations, SaaS, digitalization, or transformation projects.
• Project & Stakeholder Management: Proven track record in managing demanding customer projects with multiple stakeholders and high complexity.
• Leadership & Ownership: Experience in the functional leadership of project teams (min. 3 FTE) and a passion for taking responsibility, developing others, and actively contributing to organizational growth.
• Structure & Communication: Ability to prioritize and make decisions in dynamic phases. Confident demeanor with strong moderation and presentation skills for management, clients, and internal teams.
• Languages & Mobility: Native-level German, fluent English; French is a plus but not required. Must reside in Berlin or Munich and be willing to travel regularly within Germany.
