Team Mission
Our team's mission is to enable travelers to easily explore destinations, points of interest, and categories by providing an intuitive and inspiring discovery experience. We curate and organize our inventory at scale throughout the entire traveler customer journey and for internal stakeholders.
In this cross-functional setting, we are seeking an enthusiastic, tech-savvy leader to join as a Senior Manager. You will collaborate closely with technical stakeholders (Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers), as well as Supply, Marketing, and Content teams to innovate within our landscape.
Please note this is a Maternity Cover position on a fixed-term contract.
Your Mission
- Lead and develop a team responsible for delivering cross-functional projects, processes, and product features that enhance site experience, inventory curation, and other aspects of our marketplace business.
- Create and drive proposals to test, validate, and scale content optimizations that positively impact all sides of our marketplace (growth, travelers, and suppliers).
- Formulate a mid-to-long-term vision and roadmap that integrates these initiatives into a coherent strategy, supporting departmental and stakeholder objectives.
- Identify gaps in our Merchandising & Content setup and align or implement solutions with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Analyze data to evaluate product, marketing, and process performance, uncover opportunities, and leverage insights to gain buy-in and influence team roadmaps.
- Enhance operational excellence by establishing metrics, developing playbooks, and driving technology adoption.
- Establish and maintain data standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Your Toolkit
- 7+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced, scalable environment within project management, product management, or business analysis (with 2+ years in a leadership role), OR 5+ years in strategic management consulting. Experience in a similar setup within a two-sided digital marketplace or a consumer tech scale-up is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex customer problems and manage large, cross-functional projects and stakeholder groups under significant ambiguity.
- Experience working at the intersection of Product, Marketing, and Operations, ideally including launching data products or exposure to LLMs.
- Ability to seamlessly transition between high-level conceptual discussions and detailed execution steps.
- Highly analytical, comfortable using business intelligence tools and various data visualization concepts. Skills in data extraction using SQL and/or Python are a bonus.
- Superb written and verbal English communication skills, adaptable to different audiences, with a proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders quickly.
