About the Role

As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for leading BCD Travel's efforts to secure profitable, new national corporate travel accounts for our United Kingdom market. You will engage with pre-qualified leads, converting business opportunities within the small to mid-market segment, targeting companies with up to $1.5M in transactions or 10-1000 employees. This is a full-time, remote position based in Italy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and increase revenues through new client acquisition.
  • Convert pre-qualified leads into contracted accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for client up-selling.
  • Utilize and adhere to the sales process as outlined by sales management.
  • Identify competitive threats and emerging problems and offers.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key prospects and existing client decision-makers at all levels within client organizations.
  • Coordinate all client pricing with pricing teams.
  • Use company-provided CRM to document and support all sales activities.
  • Maintain detailed records and document sales efforts and correspondence for review.
  • Oversee the implementation of new business, working closely with implementation teams to ensure client expectations are achieved.

About You

  • Relevant work experience in a corporate sales position, with a geographic client base significantly composed of United Kingdom-based clients.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian.
  • Proven success in closing qualified leads.
  • Motivated by a performance incentive plan.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically.
  • Experience in remote selling.
  • Business travel industry experience is preferred.

Compensation

  • Italy: EUR 31,000 - 33,000 annually (gross salary).
  • The final salary will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and location, determined in line with internal equity.
  • We do not request salary history and are committed to equal pay in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
