Job Description

As a Software Engineering Tech Lead, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, troubleshooting, and analyzing complex software solutions. Your responsibilities will include reviewing system architecture and making critical decisions regarding the selection and integration of development and support tools to ensure optimal product performance. You will also engage in system modeling, simulation, and analysis to proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact end-users.

This is a hybrid position, requiring three days per week onsite for close collaboration with team members and stakeholders. You will mentor junior developers and apply your judgment and expertise to guide the team's technical decisions. A significant aspect of this role involves client interaction, where you will represent the team on technical matters.

To excel in this position, hands-on experience with DevOps practices and proficiency in the AWS Suite, Java, Groovy, DynamoDB, and Lambda are essential. Familiarity with system performance tuning, cloud-native architectures, and automation tools will further enhance your ability to lead technical initiatives and foster innovation within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and analyze complex software solutions.
• Review system architecture and make decisions on development and support tool selection and integration.
• Engage in system modeling, simulation, and analysis to anticipate and resolve issues.
• Mentor junior developers and make key technical decisions for the team.
• Represent the team to clients on technical matters.
• Lead technical initiatives and drive innovation.

Required Qualifications

• 8 to 10+ years of experience in:
• DevOps
• AWS Suite and AWS Lambda
• Software engineering
• Agile leadership
• Java, Groovy, and/or DynamoDB
• Leading software developers, coupled with hands-on keyboard experience.

Desired Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Exposure to video application development.
• Experience with CrafterCMS.
• Experience with video applications.

Security Clearance

• An active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable compensation range for this position in specified locations (California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland), which is $130,200—$265,300 USD. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as office location, role, skill set, and experience level. Accenture Federal Services offers a comprehensive array of benefits.
