Key Responsibilities
- Attend and prepare for regular Engagement Core meetings.
- Ensure integration of health equity expertise in all Consortium activities, focusing on inclusive research methodologies and culturally competent approaches.
- Advise on repositories and documentation for race/ethnicity, social drivers of health, and other equity-related variables.
- Provide consultation and mentorship on research methods for health disparities and community-engaged research.
- Participate in the development and delivery of curricula and training for ASCENT conferences and workshops.
- Foster engagement, mentorship, career development, and collaboration among health equity researchers.
- Contribute to the development of resources for the ASCENT digital library and other dissemination products.
- Assist with the engagement of LEAP members, including planning meetings and disseminating their perspectives.
- Serve as Co-Chair of SWOG’s Palliative and End of Life Care Committee.
Minimum Qualifications
- Terminal degree in field of study.
- Currently holds or has held the faculty rank of Professor.
- Past experience leading palliative care research efforts.
- Established record of palliative care publications.
- Experience serving as Co-Investigator or Principal Investigator of federally funded research grants.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate of Nursing Science.

Anticipated Pay Range
