The Opportunity

Are you looking to strategically lead a specialized Finance and BI company while actively participating in client projects? In this role, you will assume comprehensive leadership of a niche Finance and BI firm. You will shape the strategic direction, lead the team, and actively engage in client projects focused on financial planning, reporting, and consolidation solutions. You will serve as both an operational consultant and a central leadership figure, steering the evolution of client projects, processes, and market strategy.

Responsibilities

• Strategic and operational development of the company in collaboration with the existing team, including active project participation.
• Overall responsibility for client projects in Finance, Reporting, Corporate Planning, and Consolidation, including hands-on client involvement.
• Consult with clients at the management level on business processes, data-driven solutions, and operational issues.
• Guide complex projects from conception to implementation, including practical involvement and management.
• Manage and develop existing client relationships, and support Presales and Pitch activities.
• Shape solution architectures and functional concepts in the Finance, BI, and Planning environment.
• Lead, coach, and develop the team to ensure operational excellence and strategic goal achievement.
• Contribute to market positioning, growth, and future company strategy.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Business Informatics, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, Reporting, Corporate Planning, and Consolidation, with several years in a leadership role responsible for teams or projects.
• Experience in consulting, project advisory, or implementation projects, particularly in Finance and BI environments, is advantageous.
• Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a passion for active client consulting and operational project work.
• Analytical and structured working style with a high degree of personal responsibility.
• Basic technical understanding of BI, data models, or planning solutions is beneficial.
• Excellent German language skills for communication with the team and clients.
• Willingness to travel for client appointments and project support.
