About the Role
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Project Manager to join our team. The Technical Project Manager will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to drive agile project management and ensure the successful delivery of complex initiatives. This role is focused on managing non-waterfall projects, providing the operational planning, establishment, and evaluation necessary to support multifaceted programs within the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Lead the responsible development and implementation of assigned projects while managing operational, administrative, and human resources functions.
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports to ensure mission alignment.
- Conduct regular project meetings and maintain responsibility for comprehensive project tracking and analytical reporting.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and perform rigorous reviews of all project deliverables.
- Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track vendor deliverables to ensure contract compliance and technical accuracy.
- Provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team while serving as the principal point of liaison with external constituencies.
- Recommend and take decisive action to direct the analysis and solutions of complex problems as they arise.
- Provide day-to-day technical and professional leadership as appropriate to the area of expertise to maintain project momentum.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, Business Administration, or a related professional discipline.
- Experience providing services similar in required tasks, scope, and complexity within an agile environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing non-waterfall projects and implementing agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to develop detailed project documentation, including resource plans and schedules.
- Experience leading technical teams and managing vendor integrations for multifaceted projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.
- Experience with the Sponsor’s primary cyber risk and compliance automation tools.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is preferred.
Clearance Requirements
- An active Secret clearance is required.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Compensation & Benefits
The projected compensation range for this position is $141,200.00-$223,100.00. Differentiating factors include Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills, competencies, geographic location (for Remote Opportunities), education, certifications, and Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
