The Role: Operations Analytics

The Operations Analytics team uses data to inform servicing strategies across contact channels, customer segmentation, capacity planning, forecasting, and repayment operations. AI is integral to our workflow, from data exploration to model validation and stakeholder communication. You will play a key role in shaping the team's AI adoption, making architectural decisions, aligning stakeholders, and embedding AI/ML into core business decisions.

What You'll Do

Scope:

  • Planning: Own planning and staffing for UK and new-geography launches, as well as special teams. Develop and maintain guardrail metrics.
  • Foundations: Develop working familiarity with underlying data, including demand signals, agent rosters, agent activity, and license demand.
  • Infrastructure Forecasts: Own demand forecasts for checkouts and app opens in CA, UK, and other geographies.
  • Insights:
  • Report on forecast health (accuracy and outlook) for UK, CA, and other geos.
  • Advise Customer Operations real-time management (UK) on agent productivity.
  • Curate AI knowledge for Customer Operations (UK) and UK Infrastructure forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain forecasting models using time series, regression, and machine learning techniques for contact forecasting, headcount, license planning, and budgeting.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define planning and forecasting problems, develop metrics, and support decision-making.
  • Identify productivity and efficiency improvements using budget and financial performance data.
  • Present recommendations to leadership, drive decisions, and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners.
  • Collaborate with operational planning and other analytics teams to understand business context for workforce scheduling and obtain necessary data for accurate forecasts.
  • Stay current with business developments and the evolving technical environment.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, industrial engineering, operations research) with 5+ years of experience in forecasting, planning, or related quantitative problem-solving.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python or R, with hands-on experience in a modern cloud-native data platform (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery).
  • Hands-on experience utilizing AI/LLM tooling across the analytics workflow, including writing, validating, and integrating AI-generated outputs into stakeholder-trusted analyses.
  • Experience building optimization models using linear programming techniques (e.g., CPLEX, Gurobi) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to develop and validate statistical forecasting models with disciplined performance measurement, backtesting, and error tracking.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently structure ambiguous problems and select appropriate analytical approaches.
  • Clear, persuasive communication and strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Strong bias toward automation, building durable systems to delegate repetitive tasks to machines.
  • High standards of humility, honesty, and ownership.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Grade: K
  • Equity Grade: 6
  • US Base Pay Range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT): $140,000 - $190,000 per year
  • US Base Pay Range (all other US states): $124,000 - $174,000 per year
  • Total Compensation: Includes base pay, equity rewards, monthly stipends (health, wellness, tech), and benefits.
