The Technical Consulting Practice comprises experts in Outreach, CRM, and sales technologies, dedicated to innovative implementations. This team is crucial for customer onboarding and optimization, ensuring clients maximize Outreach's technical potential and adhere to best practices.
About the Role
As a Sr. Technical Consultant, you will be a technical subject matter expert within the Professional Services team, working in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with internal and external experts to implement, upgrade, and configure our sales engagement platform. A key aspect of this role involves supporting our expanding AI initiatives by enabling and configuring AI capabilities for customers, acting as a trusted advisor to help organizations adopt AI for measurable business value. Success will be measured by business impact, client adoption of best practices, and the quality of platform setup.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include
- Manage and execute customer implementations and projects.
- Conduct detailed discovery of customer CRM usage and translate findings into Outreach integration functionality.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on various Outreach technologies, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Partner with Program & Project Managers, Professional Services Consultants, Trainers, and customer stakeholders to drive projects to completion.
- Distill information from diverse sources to inform complex configuration setups.
- Analyze client processes to build successful integrations.
- Support the adoption of AI-enabled workflows.
- Collaborate with client technical experts to establish thorough configuration testing plans.
Our Vision of You
- Experienced Technical Consultant: 4-5 years in a SaaS consulting role, with at least 2 years in a technical or support capacity.
- Technical Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to quickly master new technologies, with expertise in creative technical testing and troubleshooting.
- Consultant & Trusted Advisor: Ability to understand the "how" and "why" of proposed solutions, assess feasibility, and suggest alternatives.
- Strategic Problem Solver: Proven ability to collaborate with teammates and enterprise clients to solve complex problems, with a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Experience communicating complex technical topics effectively to non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of technical topics including APIs, CRM Integration, security, privacy, and integrations.
- Exposure to AI-enabled technologies (e.g., AI-driven workflows, copilots, predictive analytics, automation features) with the ability to configure and support AI functionality.
- Familiarity with front-end and back-end development technologies.
- Admin certification with a CRM (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics) or another SaaS platform.
- Track record of leading with optimism and resilience in challenging situations.
- Expertise in working with a Sales Engagement Platform.
- History of collaborating with internal Product or Engineering teams to enhance product features.
Compensation
- Base Salary Range: $115,000 - $135,000 per year.
- Potential for incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
- Actual compensation is based on skills, qualifications, location, and experience.
