About the Role

Oscar is looking for a Process Management Associate to join their Network Operations Team. This role is central to improving business processes, ensuring efficiency, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of operations. You will report to the Director, Process Improvement.

Work Location

  • Office: Tempe, Arizona
  • Schedule: Hybrid, with 3 days in-office per week. Thursdays are mandatory for team meetings and events; other office days are flexible.

Pay & Benefits

  • Base Pay: $87,188 - $114,434 per year
  • Eligibility: Employee benefits, Oscar’s unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing business processes, including mapping and data collection, to identify improvement areas.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define process improvement objectives.
  • Develop and implement process improvement strategies, including documentation, SOPs, and workflow diagrams.
  • Apply process management methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) to identify and eliminate bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Facilitate process improvement workshops and meetings.
  • Lead or participate in process improvement projects.
  • Monitor and track process performance using key metrics.
  • Prepare and present reports and recommendations to management.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Product, and Engineering teams on automation opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices in process management.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of commensurate experience.
  • 3+ years of work experience in process management, process improvement, or a similar field.
  • 2+ years of experience using process management methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, BPMN).
  • 2+ years of experience with end-to-end process management and mapping.

Bonus Points

  • 2+ years of experience with data software (Excel, SQL, Python, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
