About The Role:

YipitData is seeking a strategic, data-driven Senior Marketing Manager to lead marketing for our Investor business. This role owns the end-to-end marketing strategy, driving awareness, engagement, pipeline, and revenue growth across YipitData's investor audience. You will partner closely with Sales, Product, Client Strategy, and Revenue Operations to develop and execute go-to-market initiatives. This is a highly visible role for someone who enjoys both strategic planning and hands-on execution, is proactive, organized, an excellent communicator, and passionate about using data to measure impact and tell compelling stories.

As the Investor business grows, this role offers the opportunity to build and lead a marketing team. You'll also collaborate with marketing teams across YipitData's Corporate and SpendHound businesses, sharing best practices while tailoring programs to a unique audience.

As Our Senior Marketing Manager, You Will:

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute the marketing strategy for YipitData’s Investor business, aligning with company growth objectives and revenue targets.
  • Identify new opportunities to drive awareness, engagement, pipeline generation, customer retention, and expansion.
  • Serve as the primary marketing partner for Investor leadership, shaping go-to-market priorities and strategic initiatives.
  • Own key projects from concept through execution, ensuring stakeholder alignment and timely delivery.
  • Drive marketing initiatives independently while maintaining strong cross-functional communication.

Demand Generation

  • Develop and manage multi-channel demand generation programs (email, webinars, events, paid media, content marketing, partnerships, digital campaigns).
  • Optimize marketing programs to increase engagement, lead quality, pipeline creation, and conversion rates.
  • Partner with Revenue teams to improve lead management processes, scoring, routing, and funnel performance.
  • Own campaign planning, execution, and performance analysis across the customer journey.

Product Marketing & Go-to-Market

  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new datasets, products, features, and coverage launches.
  • Develop messaging, positioning, and value propositions that resonate with investor audiences.
  • Create campaign assets, customer communications, and launch plans to support product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Partner closely with Product teams to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics.

Customer Marketing

  • Develop programs that drive customer engagement, retention, product adoption, and expansion opportunities.
  • Partner with Client Strategy to support renewal and upsell initiatives through targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen customer relationships through events, content, thought leadership, and communications.

Analytics & Performance Measurement

  • Establish clear KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure marketing performance and business impact.
  • Own marketing reporting and dashboarding across Salesforce, Marketo, and other systems.
  • Analyze campaign performance, conversion data, pipeline contribution, and ROI to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Build compelling narratives around marketing performance and communicate insights to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Continuously test, learn, and optimize marketing programs using data-driven insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Sales, Client Strategy, Product, Revenue Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment on business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Corporate and SpendHound marketing teams to share best practices and drive operational excellence.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and connector across teams, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment.

Team Building & Leadership

  • Help define the future structure of the Investor marketing function.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring future marketing team members.
  • Establish scalable processes and best practices for long-term marketing success.

You Are Likely To Succeed, If:

  • You have 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing, growth marketing, demand generation, product marketing, or a related field.
  • You've successfully planned and executed multi-channel marketing programs with measurable business results.
  • You are comfortable owning marketing strategy and working independently with high autonomy.
  • You are analytically strong, experienced in measuring performance, sharing results, and translating data into actionable insights.
  • You have hands-on experience with tools like Salesforce, Marketo, ON24, Asana, and similar marketing platforms.
  • You understand marketing operations, including lead lifecycle management, campaign reporting, and attribution.
  • You are highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • You communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
  • You have partnered closely with Sales, Product, Client Strategy, and Revenue Operations teams.
  • You can effectively switch between strategic thinking and detailed execution.
  • Experience marketing to financial services, investors, enterprise technology buyers, or data-driven audiences is a plus.
  • People management experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Compensation: The annual base salary is anticipated to be $150,000 - $160,000 + Bonus (targeted at 15% of salary) and Equity. The final offer depends on factors like experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal benchmarks. The compensation package also includes equity.

This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC (our headquarters), one of our office hubs, or anywhere else in the US. Please note that depending on the remote work location, income may be subject to New York State tax withholding.
