Financial Analyst / Controller (m/f/d)

We are seeking a Financial Analyst / Controller (m/f/d) for our client, a leading European family-owned company with an international presence, to start as soon as possible.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with Senior Management and the Executive Board on key financial, strategic, and operational issues. We are looking for an analytically strong individual who can structure and comprehend complex situations and derive well-founded recommendations for action.

Your Responsibilities

• Analysis and evaluation of business cases, investments, and strategic projects
• Creation of financial models, scenario analyses, and economic calculations
• Analysis of operational and financial developments within international subsidiaries
• Development of decision proposals and recommendations for action for Senior Management
• Support in budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes
• Further development of controlling methods, reporting structures, and steering instruments
• Performance analyses and development of relevant KPI and steering logics
• Close collaboration with specialist departments and international subsidiaries

Your Profile

• Successfully completed studies in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable degree with a focus on Finance, Controlling, or Accounting
• Initial relevant professional experience in an analytically focused environment, such as Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, Transaction Services, Valuation, Equity Research, or Corporate Finance
• Very good knowledge of financial modeling, investment appraisal, and company valuation
• Strong analytical thinking skills and a high affinity for numbers
• Ability to quickly grasp complex business models and issues and process them in a structured manner
• High degree of initiative, responsibility, and implementation strength
• Confident demeanor and strong communication skills
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools such as Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud is an advantage
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
