What You'll Be Doing:
- Incident Response: Support privacy and security incident response activities, including triage, containment, root cause analysis, and tracking remediation efforts involving personal data.
- Scope Assessment: Evaluate the scope and severity of incidents by identifying affected systems, data categories, impacted data subjects, relevant logs, APIs, databases, and potential exposure vectors.
- Documentation Review: Review privacy, security, and data governance documentation, such as incident response playbooks, technical procedures, and access control materials.
What You Need To Succeed:
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to articulate technical findings (e.g., cloud misconfigurations, access control gaps, log exposures) and translate them into clear privacy, regulatory, and business risks.
- Incident Handling Support: Capability to assist in incident handling processes, including impact assessment, evidence gathering, containment follow-up, and remediation tracking.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with Security, Engineering, Product, Legal, and Compliance teams on privacy and security-related matters.
It Will Be a Plus If You Have:
- Previous experience in Privacy, Data Protection, Information Security, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), SecOps (Security Operations), or Incident Response.
- Hands-on experience managing incidents related to cloud environments, logs, credentials, or access control failures.
- Technical familiarity with cloud infrastructure, monitoring, logging, encryption, and identity/access management systems.
